Dirthammer
The classic gravel loop north of town. Many people's go-to for short solo rides and group hammer sessions alike. This version is mapped from the Barton Nature Area parking lot. Forsythe Elementary, at the top of the Newport Hill, is a popular starting spot as well. If you're a segment-hunter, the official Dirt Hammer Strava Segment (https://www.strava.com/segments/2360856) is a 20.7 mile lollipop starting and ending at the Maple/Foster bridge,
Chelsea/Waterloo/Dexter 100k
This Figure-8 route takes you to some of the smaller forest roads in Waterloo State Park which provide a great contrast to the more open farm roads we get in the rest of Washtenaw county. Passing through Chelsea and Dexter along the way provides ample opportunities for resupply. On the way back to town, a victory lap on Tubbs Road gives you one of the prettier gravel climbs near Ann Arbor. But you can easily skip this and just continue back up Huron River Drive.
Gravel Under Saline
A gravel route that heads south of town towards Saline. You can expect some rolling hills and quiet farm roads.
Farmland (Chill)
A longer route that explores the farmlands and small towns southwest of Ann Arbor. Expect pastoral views with some rolling hills. Look out for the small businesses that provide calories in the form of baked goods and pickles.
Nice SE Metric
A metric century that heads to the flatlands southeast of Ann Arbor.
2025 Blom 100k
This is a route for one of the Ann Arbor Velo Club's Trilogy rides. It explores some of the metroparks to the north of Ann Arbor, as well as a lot of the gravel roads that wander through farm land.
STC Fundo 2025 53 MIle PATHLESS FUNDO
This route is part of one of Ann Arbor's best local bike shops biannual fundo rides. It makes its way north to Whitmore Lake before heading back south. It avoids the path in the metropark but allows for easy trail access if you want to check it out.
Manchester 50
50 Miles to one of Washtenaw counties coolest areas. On the way to Manchester is a small section of magical woods and windy gravel roads. Look for short punchy climbs with matching descents.
Ypsi's Orchards
36 mile route passing Wasam's on Judd and Wiards (north of Rolling Hills on Merritt; just take a path to roll north to the road while in the park)
